when we subscribed Eve we werent told we would have to spend some hundreds updating our rigs just for playing the damn game.
at the same time I presume you CCP won't give back our isk - ehr I mean the dollarz
so we need a solution. Give us the possibility to get uberlow graphics so we can keep playing decently.
Notice that:
"upgrade your computer"
"my cousin got a 4 year-old computer that works fine"
"get a job"
"if you can spend 15/month you can afford 400 for a rig"
are not acceptable answers.

It's awesome that they develop new shiny graphics for high-end rig users but they just could have kept the old ones for low-ends????
Is it THAT hard to understand?
When I signed, wasnt told about this. Now my choices are:
- A) Spend $300 or more on a new rig (and you mustnt suppose we all CAN spend that amount)
- B) Limit myself to play station games (once Jita is fixed, dont want my ships and items to be lost). And skill trainings.
- C) Leave EVE. (but wait, crap!! I got a year subscription and 8 months left... am I getting back these 8-months money? obviously NOT)
Whatever choice, I lose some money. And Im not the only one as you see the forums is "spammed" with people getting same issues. And we are not in 1980s computers. My own one is from 2004.
I know it's not a gaming rig and I won't be able to play Crysis or whatever, but damnit the previous classic client looked fine and I got 50fps+ even in massive battles, WTF now they're done so I set everything to low, it looks way worse than old classic, and still got ridiculous fps rates??????
Fix it CCP. Add some options to remove more effects/textures/whatever. Is it SO difficult? IMHO the premium "lite" should be playable on every computer who could play classic. It's called logic.

for example, whats with new warping system???
it looks like always, but it takes a LOT of resources. Even some players with much better rigs than mine, got a huge drop of fps. WTF?
Many people says game is better optimized now. k I will trust you. But warp thingie is horrible optimized isnt it?

Some people are just too egoist.
Is anyone losing anything if classic mode comes back? NO, they/you don't, since you will keep your premium ubershiny option mode.
This is not Crysis, an empty game in which graphics are the only mean. Eve Online is THAT cool that we enjoy it even with old-school graphics so let us the possibility :)

lets say a Q9450 + GTX280 + 6GB RAM
would you pay 400 extra bucks after next patch? Hey, this is a next-gen game, upgrade your crappy system you know

I agree on next-gen graphics being "cool" and somewhat "necessary". But keep the old ones to low-end customers who already paid for a long subscription. Got it NOW????????? (if not, train Analytical Mind and Empathy to level 2, please) |
